BRAZIL: Petrobras has received five bids for the shallow water portion of the Sul-Norte Capixaba gas pipeline, which is to connect the Camarupim field to the Parque das Baleias area.  Helix, Acergy, Global, McDermott and a Technip/Allseas consortium all submitted their proposals last week. The shallow section is the longest portion of the pipeline, measuring 93.2 miles (150km) long and 18 inches in diameter. The bids for the deepwater portion are due August 23. This section is 12.4 miles (20km) in length and 12 inches in diameter.
