BRAZIL: Petrobras is retendering the installation of 56 miles (90km) worth of flexible lines that will serve as injection lines for various shallow water fields. Swiber, which is interested in working in Brazil's shallow waters, placed the lowest bid in the original tender, with a Global Industries and Oceanica joint venture in second place. A market source tells ODS-Petrodata the retender and change of fields was made due to environmental issues. The flowlines will vary in diameter.
