Global Industries wins work in Brazil

Global Industries, Ltd., a Carlyss oilfield services provider, has been awarded a $70 million contract by Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. to provide diving and construction services offshore near Brazil.

The 180-day contract has an option for a six-month extension.

"The project is in line with our long term view and growth strategy in Brazil, as well as our commitment to deliver integrated solutions and quality services to Petrobas," said John Clerico, Global Industries chairman and chief executive officer.
